“We had family pictures done by Katie with Black Rose Photography and I couldn’t love them more!!! I knew Katie’s photography niche was boudoir, but I’ve seen her work and love what she does so I trusted her completely. We had such a FUN shoot as a whole family! I came in with my own ideas and Katie was sweet to go with those, but her suggestions were just genius and I could tell she really knew what she was doing with poses and lighting with the sun and all that stuff I’m clueless about. She was very professional but also super fun with the kids. They absolutely love her! If one of my little ones started to get “over it”, Katie would work her magic and have her smiling again and happy in no time. She was also super efficient and it was the most quick and painless photo shoot we’ve ever done. I couldn’t believe how many amazing shots she was able to get in what seemed like a short time. She also has a very easy to use website where you can view pictures from your shoot. Katie is extrmely talented when it comes to photography of ANY kind, so I highly recommend her to anyone and everyone!”

Such a fun and easy family session! With 2 boys taking pictures is not always easy, but Katie was great with them and really had them into it! She also asked for the colors we would be wearing a few days before and the venue she picked went perfect with our attire and I love that it was a unique venue! Our pictures turned out amazing!

Katie is a pro and made the boudoir photo experience so enjoyable.  The session was easy to book and prepare for, and Katie made me feel totally comfortable through the entire photoshoot.  She made plans ahead of time for the looks she knew I wanted and guided me on every detail of every pose.  Katie made an awesome playlist, and we had so much fun during the session.  I highly recommend this experience, and I cannot wait to see my photos and share them with my husband.

Katie made me feel so comfortable and knew how to work well with everything around her to make me look amazing in every angle. She is very knowledgeable when it comes to getting the right pose. She definitely puts in a lot of work behind the scenes to make sure she gets the best pictures possible.

Katie is one of the most unique and fun photographers I have ever used. We had soo much fun in this experience and I recommend every couple being goofy and dressing up in your favorite era and take some awkward pictures. I think we laughed more than we could keep a straight face which is why I highly recommend Katie. I honestly don’t even know where to start because Katie is just all around AMAZING!! She is very communicative, professional, passionate, creative and considerate. Before we even got to the date of my session she was on top of everything, made sure I was comfortable and I was able to get my makeup done. The session was absolutely amazing!! Katie made me feel empowered and precious but made sure I was enjoying myself and having fun throughout!! Best photoshoot I’ve ever had and I will be back without question. Katie is the real deal

I was seeking a more risque, moody sort of maternity shoot, so I Googled boudoir photographers and Katie came up. I contacted her, and she was super friendly and prompt at responding. When we met, KAtie was so bubbly and casual, and she made what I thought would be a nerve-wracking experience a really fun one! It's like pulling teeth to get my husband to take a picture, but he even enjoyed himself. Katie was willing to tweak some edits that I requested, and she got our photos back to us in a short amount of time. It is very apparent that Katie loves what she does and is an expert in her craft.

Definitely will go back. Katie did an amazing job and made the experience so comfortable as it was my first time ever experiencing a boudiour photoshoot. I recommend her big time. She was very caring and showed me how she wanted me to do the different poses. Very patient. Definitely made some awesome memories. I look forward to booking with her again in the future.

Wonderful person, supper sweet and was absolutely amazing with my kid with her very first photo shoot. For Mother's Day, my husband gave me a family session, a gift that keeps giving. The shoot day was flawless. We arrived at the location and were warmly greeted in the parking lot. Katie helped us wrangle the kids inside and settled, engaging them while setting up the shoot. They quickly warmed up to the camera and location, resulting in fantastic photos. We completed the shoot in just an hour, impressive with a busy husband and two kids who have better things to do! But we all left with smiles and happy memories. Now, I'm getting the photos and tearing up with happiness. This mom's heart is full! I don't know how to choose just a few! She captured the beauty and love I have for my family in photos, a gift hardly given to a mom who is always struggling with mom guilt and anxiety. We can't thank Black Rose enough for an amazing Mother's Day! From one pink hair queen to another, thank you!

Katie did a wonderful job capturing memories of our cook off weekend! She was super kind and patient with the team members and weathered out the awful storm that popped up on us! I would highly recommend Katie and will use her again for future events!
